Toddler slippers

Made to fit a large 2 to average 3 y.o. (15cm/6" foot with a bit of stretch)
Length can be altered by repeating the 1./2. combination to 2/3 of desired length

4.5 mm Needles
Small amount of wool or acrylic (Probably about 25 meters tops)
Small amount of thin elastic (About 30cm/12")

C.O. 32 sts
Knit 1 row
Purl 1 row

1. K3, p2, *k2, p2* to last 3 sts, k3 (right side)
2. K1, p2, *k2, p2* to last st, k1

Continue until 10cm/4" long ending on a ws row.
Knit each row until piece is 14cm/5.5" long ending on ws row.

K1, *k1, k2tog* till last st, k1

*k2tog*

Break yarn and thread back through remaining sts tightly and secure.

Slipper pat

Sew the cast on edges together with right side folded together.

Sew from toe leaving an 8cm/3.25" gap to the slipper back.

Sew a thin piece of elastic along top edge of foot hole, starting and ending at back of slipper, knot so that foot hole is slightly smaller.

Sew in ends and you're done!
